Thanksgiving

Italian Panettone: A traditional Italian holiday treat. A light and fluffy, round bread with citron, raisins, and pine nuts, spiced with a touch of anise. Delicious for French toast.

Bourbon Cake: A recipe from Paul Manghi’s mother. Traditional old-world style fruit & nut cake, loaded with pecans, raisins & Evan Williams bourbon, wrapped in bourbon-soaked cheesecloth, and spritzed with more bourbon every week, starting as early as October.

Sweet Dinner Rolls: A soft dinner roll, rich with extra egg and honey and sprinkled with poppy and sesame seeds. Comes in wheat, white or mixed bags, 12 rolls to a bag. We make thousands of these over Thanksgiving week — order ahead!

Christmas & New Year’s

German Stollen: Originally from Dresden, Germany. Traditionally served during Christmas holidays, the shape represents the folds of baby Jesus’s blanket. A sweet, dense dough with raisins, almonds and candied fruit, spiced with cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg and vanilla.

Valentine’s Day

Specialty Twists & Buns: We make a variety of special sweet treats for your sweetie. Past years’ favorites have included Chocolate Cherry Cheese Buns, Strawberry Sticky Buns, Chocolate Almond Buns, and Heart-Shaped Challah. Call in February for a list of this year’s treats.

Hot Cross Buns: A traditional Easter bun; we make them from early February through Easter. Sweet and light, full of currants, and spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Specialty Challah: We make a variety of circle challah, raisin challah, and extra-large braided loaves for the Jewish New Year. Festive, beautiful, and delicious!
